Bio

Syrian artist and interior designer who studied at Damascus University, Faculty of Fine Arts.
She is a plastic artist from Damascus, born in 1990.
Alkawa has been an authentic member of the Syndicate of Fine Artists since 2014.
Her artistic journey was enriched by academic studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts, beginning in 2012.
Her interior architecture journey culminated in her graduation in 2016 with an excellent grade.
In 2014, she held her first student exhibition at the Faculty of Fine Arts and received several certificates
for her participation in forums and exhibitions.
Moreover, Alkawa’s adoption of the abstract school, with its many facets, was the foundation of the artistic
knowledge she taught to people with special mental needs from 2008 to 2011

Awards

 First participation in collective exhibitions in Damascus, 2011.
 Awarded a license to practice interior architecture and oil painting by the Syndicate of Fine Arts in 2016.
 Work permit in oil painting since 2019.
 Received several tributes in plastic arts (pain􀆟ng) from government and private organizations.
 Designed and executed numerous design projects in both Syria and Lebanon.
 Awarded a Certificate of Deposit from the Ministry of Culture / Directorate of Legal Affairs and Copyright
• Protection for her collective works from 2013 to 2020.
 Presented 950 plastic artworks between 2013 and 2024.
 Won first place at the national level for oil painting from the Ministry of Culture in Damascus.
 She was commended by the Minister of Culture, Dr. Lubana Mushawah, during the Spring Exhibition of Culture in 2020.
 Holder of the Golden Residence for the Creative Category from the United Arab Emirates in 2022.
